Driving me mad

Hello everyone.

Back from London/Yorkshire/Essex. Bit of a long round trip all in all.

Friday was fun, opening at the Comedy Pub in London, nice sized crowd – hen night on the front row but they were well behaved. The lovely (and blisteringly funny) Julliet Myers compered, and because I was on early I could dash off early and get some kip.

Saturday I drove up to Yorkshire. It was a nice drive, I listened to some Ivor Cutler on the way up and chuckled. The gig was a talk at Questival, a camping holiday for atheist and skeptic students. All were most perky and fed me hamburgers.

The most delightful thing was spending time with Rebecca Watson, and rubbing her nose in the fact that she was my support. Here is a video of me doing just that.

She cheered up in the end.

Then today, I woke up bally early, drove down to Essex and performed in front of a cheery crowd of Lesbians at Lezgo Camping. Was tricky as we were outside, and although I was on a stage, the crowd had no protection from the wind, so was blowing hither and thither. (Lesbians don’t like to blow). Anyway, I met most pleasant people, drove back and now am going to sleep till the morrow.

Goodnight

xx
